USTC-Sun appraised at CMMI5 successfully (Jun.22, 2011)
Recently, it is announced from Carnegie Mellon University SEI that USTC E-Business Technology Co.,Ltd. (In short: USTC-Sun) has appraised at CMMI5 which means USTC-Sun has been top-level in software quality management and process improvement, and could provide more mature industrial solution and higher-quality service.
USTC-Sun mainly works in IT technology research and product development, tech-oriented service, large-scale industry information-based architecture and consulting, application software development and implementation. Main business consists of Telecom, Electric-power, Finance, Communication, Manufacture, Tabacco, E-Government Administration.
Being appraised by CMMI5, is the milestone of Industry solution and IT service development. CMMI stands for “Capability Maturity Model Integration”, CMMI models provide guidance for developing or improving processes that meet the business goals of an organization. A CMMI model may also be used as a framework for appraising the process maturity of the organization. Processes are rated according to their maturity levels, which are defined as: Initial, Managed, Defined, Quantitatively Managed, Optimizing. It is not only the certification of product quality but a way of promoting efficiency, enhancing quality and reducing cost.
